Maybe you could arrange an intervention. They have worked wonders for so many families....

This is just one of many sites available...if your dad won't go Thur a program of some kind to get clean, you will have to get tough and move on with your life. Good luck and God bless!

Tell him in no uncertain terms. As long as you're there to take up the slack and look after him, you are enabling his addiction by making it unnecessary for him to stand on his own feet. He needs to be put in a situation where he must seek professional help for his problems.

its called TOUGH LOVE... if you give him money and living arrangements you are enabling him ... you are enabling him to do the heroin. he will never get help if you keep giving him money just tell him that it is time that he gets his life in order and start getting some help.. you aren't his mother and you can't go on taking care of him as a mother..

You cannot deal with a drug addict. He needs professional help.
Take him to the facility which deal with this type of things.

Tell him he needs to get help if he loves you and if he wants to be a family and be together. You have to be strong. God bless!

just tell him how you feel.
he's obviously given you enough crap over the years.
throw him out if you have to. he's holding you back, and parents aren't supposed to do that. just make sure he knows you still love him :)
