It shouldn't take a guy seven years to know if he wants to be with you. If he wasn't ready seven years ago to be married he should have told you. A lot of things change in seven years. If he's ready to get married now, then it probably isn't you he wants. Move on.

It's true, there is no rule for that, but for me and my honest opinion, yes, 7 years is way too long without making next and real commitment.

In my mind and life, yes it is WAY too long. My mother told me 2 years is plenty of time to discover if this person is the "ONE" or not.

it really depend on the couple, if you are looking for marrige
and kids, etc, then yes seven years is to long with out something
but both of you enjoy what going on then nol it not.

there is no rule for that .. it depends on you.. if your willing to wait as long as it takes.. some men like women will never marry no matter what.. why dont you sit down with him and ask him if he ever wants to marry in the future and then you will know .. i know my bf dont he has told me he aint the marring kind
