I think anyone who tells you they like to clean is either paid to do cleaning as a job, is lying, or are the type of person who is obsessive with it, and therefore has a problem. The best way to lighten the load in the first place, is to keep things tidy and don't let things pile up. It is much more dreadful to start on cleaning if it gets all piled up and really miserable. Music or T.V. may help if not too distracting, or else it will take you longer to finish.

I would never promise that this will make you enjoy cleaning your house, but it will put some sport into the whole thing.
I watch my favorite show, and when the commercial comes on, jump up and run to a room and clean as much as you can as quick as you can until you hear your show back on. I can usually have a whole bunch done before dr. phil is over.
Its an art.

You have to first feel good about doing it. When a person's home is clean it makes you feel good. you don't need a dirty house and people will come over and talk about you when they leave. If you like Music then get you a couple of Cd's and get to jammin and cleaning. Do 1 room at a time and make sure its complete before you move to the next one, start eating gossiping on the telephone.Get busy.......Act like someone special is coming over LIKE your favorite Superstar

It's kind of like hitting yourself in the head with a hammer. It will never be enjoyable no matter what you do.
Seriously, turn on some good up beat music and start in one room. Even if you don't finish the whole house, at least part of it will be clean. If your kids messed it up, make them clean it. Lazy mothers pick up after their kids. . .

First of all you need to find the fastest and easiest way to get it done.
Then...do like the pro's...have a cleaning caddy so everything is ready to go when you need it.
Turn up the stereo and dance and sing your way through the mess...extra benefit-burn more calories. :)
After 30yrs of being a homemaker and now-a professional housecleaner I can honestly tell you I've never learned to ENJOY it much...
I've learned how to make it easy so I can get it done and enjoy the things I really want to do.

If you have roommates, try to set a day and time when you can all clean together. We used to pump up some music and dance around while we cleaned up. If you live alone.. eh you can still dance around while you work. Also maybe set up some sort of reward to make you work through it. Like maybe if you clean up you will treat yourself to something nice. Like a manicure or something for all your hard work. That might give you more incentive.

When cleaning, Try this cleaning cloth. You have to buy in packages of 5 but they are only like $3 bucks a piece. I have ordered them and use them on everything, especially cleaning windows and clean mirrors. They are made out of tiny fibers. They are guaranteed not to scratch and all you do is rinse the cloth under water, wring it out and wipe ANY surface with no streaks or scratch. Use em over and over. I have not thrown one away yet!
...I encourage you to try it out, it is really fun to see how little effort it takes to clean without streaks tec.
