What happend to Richie Cunningham (the character)?

Who knows? He probably grew up to be a nice young man, married a nice woman, settled down and had 2.5 red-haired children who desperately needed braces, got a steady but boring job in a small town in Indiana, and perhaps discovered at 50 that he was really gay, shaved off what little was left of his hair, and became an interior designer! Stranger things gave happened, believe me. Whevever he is, I hope he's happy and healthy.

In the last season he married the girlfriend and joined the army. She moved into his house with the parents and he was mentioned in like every episode but was never there(Ron Howard had left the show) What I want to know is what happened to Chuck, Richie's older brother? He was in the first show but that was it.

He went away to Uni , Graduated then Married and had some wholesome all American Kids !!
Ron Howard the actor that played him is now a Major Hollywood producer!!!

richie's character after his stint in the army from greenland he came back briefly with lori beth his wife & son then just moved away to another city to a bigger newspaper.

He joined the army and was moved to Greenland. He married his girfriend over the phone with Fonzie as his stand in, this gave her an exit off the show when she went to live on base with him.
Then the show really sucked until it was cancelled.
