We bought a new chest of drawers. Before we start putting clothes in it, we want to put in shelf paper. My wife says there is a kind of shelf paper that is insect resistant or repellant. W e plan to put wool sweaters in there, and we are trying to avoid putting a small mothball in each drawer.

Yes, there is. It really worked! My family had a second home in the country and bought shelf paper that was insect resistant. Don't know where they got it, but you could try one of the major home improvement chains first.

Not that I know off. There are fragrant shelf paper but the scent goes away in a couple of months anyway, and the perfume is ugh- too too room air freshener smelling.
I think the best thing would be keeping them in plastic. There are plastic wrapping gizmo that you can buy where you can vacuum pack clothes, sort of like packing food for the freezer, only bigger. It saves on space and you can tell easily if the vacuum seal has been broken.
Ther is nothing worse than opening up your favorite wool sweater and find out some pesky bugs have eaten holes through it.

no no no,put you a little cedar in the drawers, that's why they made cedar chests or cedar closets.these are natural ,not like some real harmful chemicals.if i Had problems with insects, then i would exterminate the house, not the drawers.
