I forgot where, but I heard that if a colored person and a white person have a child, and that child has a child with a white person, and so on, that on the 8th child of the same pattern will have a colored child with red hair. What's that term called?

"Octoroon" - a person having one-eighth black ancestry; the offspring of a quadroon and a white.

The terms mulatto, quadroon, and octoroon originated with the racial policies of European colonizers in the Americas, especially the Spanish.
Because civil rights and responsibilities were based directly on the degree of European blood that a person had, such classifications were highly elaborated, and minor distinctions in ancestry were carefully recorded.
While these terms have highly precise definitions, in actual practice they were often used based on impressions of skin color rather than definite knowledge of ancestry.

The correct term is person. After 6 generations of whites there wold be little trace of ***** in the person. On th eother hand if after generationsof ***** mix the person would have little or no white features. In other words you would not know the person had any white in him/her if ***** or you would not know the person had any ***** in hi/her if white only from 1st .generation.

Ridiculous is what that is called. Red hair is not a product of anything but genetics. If red-hair isn't in the gene pool, you will not even see it in the 100th generation.

These terms are best forgotten with the circumstances from whence they came. But I believe "octaroon" is what you are looking for.
the correct term is "human being" if you know what I mean.

It's just called mixed........or biracial.
The etymology of Mulatto is Spanish,
meaning young mule. It is considered
offensive. Intellegent people prefer
not to use it.
