By joining the Defenders of Wildlife, your contributions will go to fighting the ravaging of our wildlife in the United States. They will also notify you of upcoming problems so that you can contact your legislators and they supply you with petitions that will be sent to the appropriate politicians. I, too, hope this can be stopped. It is not only happening in Idaho, but also in Alaska.

Asked and Answered, skin heads rule in Idaho been there. That is a strange place. Go to the Animal Rights People. the fact that they all have guns there and love to hunt, and they probably ran out of wildlife from that rather than the wolves eating them. Maybe too that a person was eaten by a wolf? Now that would be a reason for vengence. Either way they should be corraled and sent to where the deer are too plentiful and dying from starvation, and that would be Wisconsin. And yet alot of the deer is diseased, so the wolf won't eat them.

Wolves hunt in packs. When they are hungry, they will attack anything they think they can overpower. They don't care if it is a person, or animal. The Governor is not calling for a continuous open season on wolves, he is asking for hunters to help control the population that has become a hazard to humans and livestock. We hunt deer, pheasant, turkeys, ducks, and geese for limited seasons every year to help control the population. I have hit a deer before, and had to get a new car. Not cheap. I have seen the damage a Canadian goose can do to a vehicle, not to mention the mess they make in lawns and ponds. This is why we have hunting seasons, to control the population, but not exterminate the species. If we don't hunt them, they will be hunting us.

have you ever even performed any learn in this? As a rustic bumpkin, i've got heard approximately subjects like this, and what's happening is that the wolves have been hunted too plenty before, and now that folk have found out what they have performed they have permit the wolves come again. Now we are looking out that they are coming returned in too great of numbers. If the inhabitants keeps to advance, they are going to consume each thing else and then die of starvation, leaving each wild animal ineffective. extremely of letting that ensue they are probable having a controlled hunt with a view to maintain a healthful inhabitants of wolves. the two that or he's giving in to stress from farmers who're unhappy approximately wolves ingesting the occasional livestock and hurting their earnings.

Please keep in mind that "Butch" is a good ol' boy REPUBLICAN. Whenever there's a problem, Reps shoot it or bomb it.
At the news conference announcing the plan, the audience was filled with mouthbreathers in camo or safety orange. All cheering and whooping it up. And these people say they love America.
There are lots of ways to deal with predators taking down livestock. But to do so would involve talking to liberal environmental groups. And that won't happen becuase it might mean the liberals are right!
Just kill the wolves. It's easier that way

Only the people of Idaho can stop it and they won't, as they are the fools who elected this bozo. The federal government could put tougher regulations on the killing, by raising the number to higher than 100 for endangered species status, but they won't as long as G Dummy Bush is still the President.

The wolf population has probably grown out of proportion and needs to be controlled. It's like deer season ... do we let them propagate beyond reasonable limits and continue to cause automobile accidents and kill/injure people or do we control the population and reduce the number of humans killed and injured? Which is more important, wild animals or humans? Have you ever been involved in an accident with a deer or had a child or pet killed by a wolf? I didn't think so.

Obviously the wolf population has grown to a size that is having a negative impact on livestock. There is nothing you can do short of trapping as many wolves as you can, and then releasing them outside of the state (which is illegal I believe).

Lifting the ban on killing wolves is not a bad thing. Wolves are carnivores. When wolves get too numerous, they devastate other animals, such as deer, and can wipe them out. If that happens, and wolves lose their food supply, then wolves start getting closer to people. Believe me, a pack of hungry wolves is not friendly. When they lose their food supply, they starve to death. This is a horrific picture. You end up with no deer and wolves that have starved to death.
Your Governor's lifting of the ban will save thousands of animals.

It's easy to stop. Just kill all the wolves. Then no one will be able to hunt them anymore.
