Is there any expressions with "do the mess" in English?

no, "do the mess" makes no sence in english. "making a mess" can be the same as "making" a cake.. you put all the ingredients together and make it the same as "making" a mess would be putting all the toys all over the floor. however you can say, "what she is doing right now is making a mess" same as you can say "what she is doing right now is making a cake" i hope this helped, im not quite sure what you were asking.

Hon is correct. When you are asked "Why did you do the mess", that means the dirty or bad thing or whatever is there existing already and you just 'do' it with or without you knowing it. On the other hand, when someone asked "Why did you make the mess", that means you made something bad or whatever that's original (no precedence) with you totally unaware of the outcome. 'Make a (not the) mess' is more acceptable in both verbal and written English, though
