The last sentence of The 12th amendment to the US Constitution reads "But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of vice_President of the United State." Governor Schwarzenegger is disqualified by that clause. The remained of your question is then purely hypothetical.

Gov. Schwarzenegger can NOT be VP.
The last line of the 12th Amendment (deals with the election of President and VP) of the U.S. Constitution states that: "...no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States."
So, since Schwarzenegger is not eligible to be President, he can not be elected as VP.

He legally cannot take the job. The Vice President has only two actual jobs: to assume the Presidency and be President of the Senate.
Since he cannot fufill one of his Constitutional duties, I'm sure someone somewhere can legally prove that he cannot run.

No he won't be able to Eligibility The vp must be a organic-born citizen of us of a, a minimum of 35 years of age, and a resident of the U.S. for 14 years. Contrarily, Article II in trouble-free words states that those criteria are for eligibility for the president and under no circumstances inevitably the vice-president. The 12th change to us of a structure calls for the vp to satisfy an same eligibility criteria because the president, and the Twenty-2d change limits the president to in trouble-free words 2 words in workplace. (Any era of service in the workplace of president for 2 years or more suitable counts as one time period). for this reason, the optimal type of years someone would function president is ten years (2 4-year words and one 2-year time period having succeeded to the presidency). once someone is ineligible to the workplace of president, he's ineligible to the workplace of vp.

LOl, a joke right. If some thing happen to the President, he is not even close in line to assume the position of any one in Congress. As for as want him for President or VP, would you want Mickey Mouse or Goofy, not me. He will NEVER be President or VP. , so I am not worried about it.

Arnold was not born in the US and therefore he cannot run for either President or Vice-President. End of story.

Despite being married to a member of the Democratic Kennedy family (Maria), Arnold is a Republican. I think we have had enough years of Republican dictatorship for awhile, and could use a change larger than just in the face.

I don't think he can't be VP. You better check that again. I wouldn't vote for Schwarzenegger because of his fiscal liberalism that he now has. His universal healthcare even to illegal immigrants in California. He doesn't stick to his true convictions. I wouldn't vote for him.

I voted for him for "governator" but I am not very happy with his latest move to give health insurance to illegal aliens.
I would not support him for VP, and frankly, I don't think Ahnuld would settle for VP.

Gov. Schwarzenegger for V.P. or President . . . Yes. I voted for him as my Governor. I don't vote for political party...I vote for the individual...and he has my vote.
