It depends on what you mean by "jewelry". Do you mean junk, or do you mean REAL jewellry? Like any other valuable commodity-art, land, antiques- high quality jewellry can be viewed as an investment. Look on the internet: you will see that good quality antique jewelry (in particular Victorian and Edwardian) is eminently collectable - and can be sold at a tidy profit if the purchaser chose wisely in the first place. I can't over-emphasise that I mean REAL jewelry of good quality that is insured...how, then can anyone possibly have too much of a good thing?! Bring on the Baubles, I say - and keep an eye on "The Antiques Road Show" for what 's "hot" ...AND "not".

Enough can just be 1 piece special to her heart, with meaning. A woman never has too much jewelry. There can always be more. Gotta think, styles change, jewelry must too. Throughout a lifetime, jewelry can be like a journal telling it's own story, AND it's last forever, unless lost or stolen of course

Why talk only of women. Ask yourself when do you have too much money? When do you have enough? When do you need more? There is absolutely no restriction; till the taxmen come after you; till the debtor comes after you; till your coffers in your house fill to the brim; till a thief comes and steals it all; nothing is enough. Then and only then much or enough or more or all is nothing. These are comparative words more; enough; too much but what it finally boils down to is have as much as you feel comfortable with and you dont step on anyone toes and harm another to get what you desire.

Klaus,
Too much, when she has to get a bigger jewelry box.
She has enough when she says so; never NEEDS more, but may WANT more. Best to get rid of junk in favor of the good stuff.

when she has any. When she has none. When she finds a putz that will buy it for her.

A c'mon, people. Useless rocks and baubles?

If you can't eat it, smoke it, drink it, f*uck it or kill something with it.

Piss on it.

Maybe women should marry crows. They like shiny, worthless things, too.

She has too much when she wants to overdress and have fun? Maybe if she's really self-conscious, and wants to look really good for a certain special event? She has enough when she feels she does. She needs more when she feels she needs more.
