this is a question i have asked myself often....with my ex we were like that for a long time...then i just got tired one day and and to stop and think why? the answer i came up with is, that I gave my all to this man and he betrayed me, hurt me like no other, managed to break down that wall i had up, only to build it higher.Im sure he felt the same...but you have to LEARN to forgive...then eventually you will forget...its been 9yrs and now the memories i have of us are mostly ones to put a smile on my face.

Because they want to lol and because they cannot let the past be the past and move on with thier lives and they choose not to forgive and to heal!
