Actually, I don't think WE had the right to make the decision to put him to death.
As you stated, the judgement should have been something that was passed by God.

I am so disgusted that we waste so much time, energy, money, and LIVES for these oil bearing countries! There are so many more well deserving countries of our free money. (Seeing how the whole charity bit will never start here at home.)

Guess it's unrealistic thinking aye?

If we stop focusing on the Oil bearing countries, our politicians no longer get rich, and we can't have that now can we?

In regards to the Canadian thing....Dude, I've got nothing bad to say about our neighbors, the Canadians...By the way, beautiful country-side you've got there! :-)

the us had no ability to be the judge or jury on what to do with Saddam. it was the people of Iraq he mistreated and it was up to the elected officials to decide what should be done to him. I had my reservations to if the Iraqi govt was a puppet or not to the US but as things played out it has become obvious that they DO make their own decisions and more times than not they have gone AGAINST US beliefs.. that being said I do think it was entirely the Iraqi govt that made that decision... and again the US had NO authority as to how to handle him.

His own people passed the judgement and called the shots on the execution....US didn't have anything to do with that.....God will make his judgement anyway....ya know...why worry about that sick mided individual anyway...he was a psycho and the world is a much better place without him....to be honest they should execute more often here for certain crimes....I don't like knowing my tax dollars are feeding... killers and rapists ect...ect........the world has gotten too soft....

We, as a society, did not go and hang Saddam. He was duly charged, tried, convicted, and sentenced in an Iraqi court of law. His execution was carried out the same way.

First off, we the US, did not try, sentence, and execute Saddam. It was done by his own peers, and Court of Law in Iraq. But, if you were to ask if the US did have any influence on the trial, possibly!

We didn't hang him. The Iraqi govt did. I think they made the right decision. The world is a better place now that he is not part of it.

I didn't hang S'damn Insane. I didn't make the law he was convicted of. I wasn't the judge; I wasn't in the jury. So why would I feel guilty about what happened to him? Why would you?

I feel that human life is precious and it should be saved, but when a human does the things that he and many others have done they should be put to death

I dont think it is our responsible to take someone life, no matter how many people they killed. I think the most we can do to a person is jail him or her for the rest of his life.
