So what if she flirst with him? She's probably not the only one who does and if he really liked you, he'd be with you.
You can't stake your claim on a crush.

I was like you too with this guy. I hated it when my friend would look at him in a certain way. So I got really mad with her easily.
But that's all over now and I'm glad that I didn't ruin my relationship with my friend.
I hope you don't too. Because friends are the people you want to stay with for the rest of your life. Guys just come and go. Don't ruin your relationship just for a guy. Just talk to her and tell her how you feel.
Ask her if she really likes the guy. If she says no, then she should stop flirting with him. Actually, it'd be better if you asked the guy out since you're sure that he's into you too.
You'd be able to tell if your friend is a real one if she respects your relationship with the guy and stops flirting with him.

you can be mad at your friend all you want, but when someone likes someone else, they usually can't help it. your friend is probably jealous because you and her ex are starting to have a "thing" of your own. the only way the issue is gonna get resolved is if you all talk it out. not necessarily all together, but make sure everybody knows whats going on. otherwise you could end up in a big ol' fight with your friend or lose your guy

Just ask him out yourself already. If he likes you as much as you think he does, he will be happy to accept. Then, when the two of you are an item, your friend will either get the hint and knock off the flirting routine, or you may have to realize that she's a back-stabber rather than a friend and end the friendship. Time will tell.

Your friend has her eye on him still. Back off.
Let her have him, and find someone else - there are plenty out there - PLENTY! I bet you as soon as you lose interest in him, she will too, then you will KNOW if she is your friend or enemy. If she is your enemy she will follow you around until you find someone else, and flirt with HIM!
RUN away from this person, and don't look back - they are there just to muck up your good time - they are jealousy of you - It's not your problem - it's theirs! Let them deal with it.
Then have good fun with some new friends. You sound young - you have LOTS of time!

Yeah. I've been there.
Just be nice about it but tell her that her flirting is getting on your nerves and stop it.
Don't sound or act angry but be direct about it with her.
Say with a smile, "Do you you mind? He's mine. Find your own guy." Then give a small laugh but at the same time let her know you mean it.
That way she won't feel insulted. She SHOULD back off.
Good Luck.

She may have tried to set you and the guy up to see if the guy would act on it. You said that your friend and this guy had a thing, so obviously he wasn't too shy to ask her out. Tell them to quit playing games and to figure out what they want.

no, its love you cant fight it no matter what, your friend is just following her heart and her deapest desries to be with hime. She is such a good friend that she tried to hook you 2 up even though she had feelings but now cant fight them any longer. She might not know how you feel about you doing that so just tell her and it isnt the one who claims him first that gets em girl, its the one he talks to and likes the most the should get em.

Worst Enemy, She apperantly only cares for herself, no self absorbed person can be a best friend. Yes I think your justified in being mad at her.

does not sound like a real friend to me. Try to get with this guy when she is not included and ask for an honest answer how he feels, if he does want to be with you, drop the friend that is interfering
