VERY normal!! I know it's not hiccups too. I had this ALOT with my first baby, It's like they just start pounding really hard and WAY fast just like you might ecpect a seizure to be. However, my son is now 11 and healthy. Not to worry, Mommy.

I had that too. Unfortunately, my doctor didn't catch it in time. My son came out with "baby jitters" that, three weeks later, became seizures. He was hospitalized for a week at Children's Hospital and hooked up to electrodes for three of them. Those three days I was not allowed to hold him, nurse him, or even cuddle him because we were in the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. He was diagnosed with Infantile Spasms. The good news is that he is now 11 months and right on track. At the start, they entered him into the Birth to Three program and they came to my house every week to give him occupational therapy. He is a normal active boy who stands but doesn't walk yet. This is normal for boys as they are neurologically slower than girls to develop. The good news about babies with IS is that the majority outgrow it with no lasting effects. You should be OK, but just in case, bring it to your doctor's attention. Do it now or whenever you can instead of waiting like I did. I'm sure you don't want to run to the Children's ER in your pajamas dragging a sleeping 2 year old behind you scared to death that your child is dying from seizing. Once their attention is on it, you will be ok.

Honey your lucky!! I swear my son was doing summersaults in my 9th month!
As long as you feel him moving you shouldn't be worried.
If you are, you should ask your doctor.
Good luck!
