THANK GOD the two boys were found alive. Shawn was missing for over 4 years... Ben, since Monday.

i am from Union,MO, the town where Ben goes to school. My son works with Bens parents and you cant even imagine the caouis that was going on in our town. I too believe that Michael D should be hung by his b@lls and suffer as much as the boys have. Many think that perhaps this had happened to him as a child, therefore he is doing to them what was done to him. I pray the boys get plenty of therapy and love that they as children deserve.

First off I am so thankful that they were both found alive. It is my opinion that had they not found them when they did, Shawn would not have been alive much longer. Unfortunately, I believe that since Shawn had gotten older, this pond scum sucking dirt bag, was replacing him with someone younger had would not have been able to keep Shawn around much longer without questions being asked.

Back to topic, (I might get reported, but I will deal with it), I think the guy should be strung up by his #@*& and hung in a public square where people could slap the *&^% out of him for about two weeks and then put him a jail with the biggest, meanest man so he can experience what he did to those boys and be given electric shock to his (*&^% three to four times a day. Just my personal opinion.

I feel that no matter what the punishment for Michael Devlin, it cannot be enough to pay for his horrendous crimes of kidnapping and sexual abuse. Let's face it...apparently his punishment for past crimes was not enough to deter him from repeating the same atrocious crime again and again. He did not register with the state as a sex offender and had he not been found would continue to commit this unspeakable crime. I feel that there must be a better way to keep track of these types of criminals. We cannot leave it up to them to "register" themselves. I would truly like to focus on a better way to keep these kinds of criminals from being parolled without some type of controlled system of tracking their whereabouts. Otherwise, I would say that since they cannot be rehabilitated the punishment and sentencing should be much more severe than is current. I truly feel that if the boys Ben and Shawn had not been found that Shawn's future existence would have been at best, questionable and Ben's would have been the substitute for a continuance of this horrendous crime perpetuated by Michael Devlin.

Well I think sexual assault of a child should be a televise execution.I don't care who reports me.That won't change the nightmares these innocent children have to face.The rest of there life is really destroyed mentally and physically to get close to someone a truly great person is harder than regular people know.If laws where harder on these freaks like death maybe they would slow down.It will never stop why can't we as adults do more to protect children.If you were nine years old and had to explain this to social services a Dr. giving an exam only a woman should have telling many head quacks how your not a virgin.Then your told physically your not but mentally you are mentally your ****** forever and what should happen to the man.I think we should get mid evil and rack him on CBS NBC and FOX.

I think that he should go to prison with no chance of parole. I live in MO and am so happy that they were found! But that kidnapper should rot in prison for making the family and children suffer through so much. Why are there always so many kidnappings here? I am so glad that they are alive!

Ok i have a question where is everyone getting he was a sex offender ? All i have heard was that he has 2 traffic tickets . I have looked on all sex offender sites and he is no where to be found .I also checked out casenet. , and for the answer what he should get LIFE IN PRISON .
He has dominated these boys ...now someone needs to dominate him it would drive him insane to be locked up .

Along with all child molesters, I think he should be sexually mutilated. Devlin should be castrated. If it's children that turns him on, then he shouldn't be physically capable of getting turned on. They say that's cruel and unusual punishment. Why are we so determined to protect these guys instead of the children? How many of these perverts have raped children and have been released so they can do it again? We need to protect our children no matter what the cost to the people out to hurt them!
