It's amazing that some people really believe this. Go talk to some of the people (thousands) who ACTUALLY worked on the Apollo program. Talk to them about how they got no sleep for months, how they ran test after test, how they all felt a sense of national pride and accomplishment. Something that's so lacking today that people have to come up with these pathetic hoax stories. Also, geniuses, the Apollo astronauts left a mirror on the moon off which scientists bounce a laser to accurately measure the distance to the moon, which you can find in the almanac.

The flag wasn't waving. It was made of a semi-rigid material and put on a rod to make it stand out. There were no stars apparent in the sky because the quality of the film used and the length of exposure was such that tiny details like that were not visible. Any experienced photographer knows that in order to take a decent picture of stars you need to have a long exposure time, which requires that the camera be on a motorized mount that will rotate in synch with the sky.

they had a metal rod that simulated the waving of the flag, there is no wind and no atmosphere on the moon to naturally wave the flag. the light from the camera and the low resolution of the camera was not enough to show stars in the background. face it buddy, we did land on the moon

Listen. If the moon landing was faked, don't you think Russia, the United States's space archrival, would have said anything? The moon landing wasn't faked. The reason the flag was waiving was because it was unfurling and the reason that there were no stars visible was because the camera used on the moon was too low quality to see the stars!

The flag was extended on a metal rod to give the illusion of flying in the wind, the cameras were too low-res and low-contrast to capture stars, they weren't, and there wasn't.

They did film promotional moon landing simulation material on earth, but they did land on the moon. When the high-res Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter images come in, you'll be able to see some of the equipment from the late sixties and seventies that we left there. Of course, conspiracy theory types will claim that NASA faked the images...

Someone was fiddling with the flag.
Stuff on the Moon is bright and to get faint stars you would overexpose the camera.
There was no 'prop rock' and prop companies don't do that anyway.

Please learn some basic physics and astronomy before spouting off stuff that's been debunked a million times just today.

Don't be silly! Everyone knows that the moon itself is a NASA hoax, the Earth is flat, and Elvis is alive and working in a donut shop in Cleveland. I know all this is true because I saw it on a website. Sheesh!

People that do not believe we landed on the moon should be dropped off there on the next trip.

If you really care, go to wikipedia, and type in the words "moon landing hoax". It will answer your questions. But I don't think you really care, you just want to be an idiot.
