Try using Colgate Bathroom cleaner. It works great at removing all kinds of dirt and grime. It also removes water deposits on the mirrors that hang in the shower, Good luck!

Get some Spray 'N Wash laundry spray. It's an oil base , thick cream that sticks and soaks the scum away. Spray it all over. Let soak a few hrs. Then it is so easy to clean down. Also great for shower doors that have become filmy and white. I learned this when cleaning rooms in a motel. When it is very clean and dry, use cream car wax and wax it like your car. Really ! It will put a coating on it hot water will have a hard time getting off. Make sure there is a mat or grid on the bottom of tub just in case your type of tub material gets slippy. I don't think it helps to ask the guys to do anything. They want to shower and get going.

I use soft scrub, or the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. I don't know what is in that magic eraser, but it works on everything. I would also ask Hubby to take some responsibility, and at least rinse the tub out when he is done. Also, maybe try changing the soap he uses, some are worse than others as far as leaving a scum on the tub.

The best thing to use is Clorox Cleanup OR Tilex ( the original one) They will do the job and disinfect at the same time. After you do the cleaning with one of the products above, use some Fabulous ( I DON'T KNOW THE CORRECT SPELLING RIGHT NOW) in a spay bottle. Every time he gets out spay the tub right after all around wipe the tub a little then run the shower water. you will not have to scrub the build up off because it will run down the drain.it will take you 5 min of your time.

I used to use this Arm & Hammer Clean Shower stuff. You spray it in every day, when you finish showering... it really only takes another 10 seconds to mist the wet tub after you get out. I thought that it helped a lot. I would still use it now -- except that we have a cat who plays in the tub.

There is a cleaning product with Teflon© in it that leaves a protective shield when you clean...it might help making the tub easier to clean?
Also-if you could get your hubbie to quickly rinse the tub as soon as it is empty that would help a lot. Once the muck dries-it makes it harder to clean off. I keep a 16ounce plastic cup in the tub area just for this purpose.

Use the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, especially if you have a plastic bathtub with molded tread. You'll be amazed how easy it is.
Another thing that helps is to encourage your husband to switch from bar soap to body wash...I've noticed that bar soap builds up much faster in our tub. They make body wash in nice, manly scents now so he shouldn't mind too much.

Judi has a good suggestion.
Or you could lower your standards, or get a place that has two bathrooms and let him have his own, or replace the [I'm assuming it's a fiberglas stall] tub with a tile shower or porcelain-coated tub.

Try WD-40. Works great on removing stuff like that. Especially on the chrome. It removes water spots.
