You're almost begging for a Yahoo Answer from every scam artist on line.

Most "High Yield Investment Plans" are a way for someone else to get rich. Generally variable annuities are the most expensive "retail" product out there. Sellers of these plans make a lot of money & you can be sold an inappropiate product.

Other plans will fall under the "...if it sounds to good to be true"... it's most likley a way to get your hard earned cash.

Try to stay with the mainstream brookers. Avoid banks and inurance companies for investment products.

Good luck and be careful!
