Go is the best strategy game -- it is far better and deeper than chess -- but the learning curve is huge: you have to play several times before you even start to understand what is happening on the board, and you have to play thousands of games to get close to your highest potential level. Go players tend to be extremely intelligent, and more well-rounded than chess players. Computers can beat the world champion in chess, but no computer program has got beyond the novice stage in go.
