i shaved down there and now i have ingrown hairs

Next time shave with the direction of the hair growth, not against it...and to remove the current ones, you will have to either wait it out or pop it open like a zit and pull the hair strand out...

Ingrown hairs can be caused simply because of technique, instead of shaving against the hair, try shaving in the same direction. Use a good exfoliate before/after, you can apply some baby powder to decrease sweating which creates more bacteria . . . thus infecting hair follicles.
As far as what can be done now, typically, ingrown hairs resolve on their own after several days. You can speed up the process by taking a warm bath or placing a warm compress on the area . . . this will cause the infection created by the ingrown hair to "come to a head" much like a pimple & eventually break through the skin.
Picking is the last option, if you decide to go with this method, a good pair of tweezers will work (make sure they are clean). Last resort if this is becoming bigger is to go to the doctor for removal.

ok the easiest way u can get rid of them is to pop it and pull the ingrown hair out.. if it doesn't have a head to it yet take a wash cloth and soak it in the hottest water u can stand to have on ur skin down there and then place it on ur genital area and the bump will get a head.. if u don't want to pop it take some diaper rash cream (desitin, balmexx or the like) and put some on the area... all an ingrown hair is caused from is excess heat which causes the skin to be extra sensitive and my gyno actually recommended the diaper rash cream.. also in the future when shaving down there shave in the direction of hair growth also make sure to do it when the skin is warm (in the shower or after a shower) after shaving put some baby oil on the freshly shaved skin and let it soak it in to replenish the natural oils in ur body.. other than that u should be ok
