My friend, lets call her wanita. Now for years wanita has been having cramps AFTER menstruation. I know that the main time you get them is DURING. It blows my mind how she thinks this is normal. I've told her various times, again and again to seek some sort of physical assistance. She REFUSES to go anywhere near the doctors. She believes that doctors are a conspiacy theory. She thinks they will kill her. I know that is the most bizzare thing ever, but its how she feels. She believes that they will inject her with a strong dose of horse tanqualizer. Another theory she has is the one of venom. Indusing snakes to project a multiple dialation wound. You all probably think she is insane, DONT. she is brilliant and an amazing girl, i just need to know how to HELP her. Please, if you have a heart send me your oppinions on how to talk her into getting checked out and majour renewal treatments.
Yours truly-
Mel Griph

I told you you had ovarian cancer, you didn't want to listen!
Go get checked, the horse tranquilizer just makes it all the more fun( I mean, wouldn't you rather be loopy through the exam anyways?). But that venom thing, now that's just ludicrous!
The Dr's are your friend! They will not kill her! But cancer does kill.. just give it a shot.
Is she one of those weird people who won't go into banks either, because she's afraid she'll get killed?
I think your friend has paranoid personality disorder. It's very treatable. Tell your friend to make an appointment with her GYN and get the horse tranquilizer. This is a good treatment for PPD.
I hope your friend goes. Your a good friend, Mel; and absolutely hilarious!
KISSES!

Well I don't think you are insane, my cousin used to have cramps before and after her period, this is rare but is quite normal for people who do have this problem. But your friend does need to see a doctor because there are other things out there that could be causing the problem.
It is hard to make someone go to the doctor that does not want to go. I suggest that if you are a teenager, you need to go to the school nurse and tell her you are concerned about your friend. She may get angry but in the end it will be better for her. Sometimes a small problem can become serious if it is not taken care of. Hopefully she is fine though so get to work good friend and do what you must to help her.

If you girls are in school maybe you could talk to a school nurse?
If not, and since she obviously isn't going to go to a doctor...if you're really worried then I would recommend that you either call or visit a doctor, describe her symptoms and find out the doctors opinion. Maybe even get your friend on the phone while your at the doctor so that they could ask her any questions. They can't harm her over the phone. Then, if it is serious maybe you can persuade her into a real visit. One step at a time I suppose :]

What other options has she used to help with the cramps? You could point out to her, if she has tried other options. THAT IT OBVIOUSLY DID NOT WORK. If I were in your shoes. Number one, I don't tolerate someone who complains about something and doesn't do a thing for it. That has to be frustrating to you. I would suggest that you tell her that if she is afraid you will go with her to get checked out. Tell her that you love being around her and if she has any respect for you and the way you worry, GO GET CHECKED OUT. if not for her just for your sanity. I understand she does not like doctors, but this is a problem thats obvious and cannot be overlooked. I personally think she is more afraid of them finding something seriously wrong with her and she is afraid she would not know how to handle that. People have the right to refuse treatment for conditions. Tell her just go to get examined. There is nothing that says that she has to accept the treatment for her problem. She has that right. Its the law.

I feel like your friend. If one goes to the doctor the doctor will find something wrong. Most people die in the hospital. I like doctors though.

If it has been going on for years than probably it is not an emergency. It could last for another couple of years.
