RED Nailpolish - Hard To Get Off??

Hi,

I Was Just Wondering... Out Of All Of The Colours In The World, How Come Red Is The Hardest Nailpolish To Get Off??

I Just Wanted To Know If This Is Common, Or What - I Find It Soooo Easy To Get Off Black, Pink, Blue, Clear, White, Yellow, Grean, Purple, ect Nailpolish Off - But It Always Takes Twice As Long To Get Red Off...

Does Anyone Know Why?? Or Have This Problem Too??

BTW - I Use NYC, Mabeline NY, MAC, Loreal Nailpolish - And, Have The Same Prob With Each Brand...

I DONT THINK IT'S BECAUSE IT'S A DARK COLOUR...
BECAUSE, I WEAR BLACK, DARK BLUE, DARK PURPLE & OTHER DARK COLOURS, AND ITS EASY TO GET THEM OFF!!

BLAINE - I NOTICED THAT WITH SPARLES TOO!!
IT'S BECAUSE THEY USE GLUE IN THE NAILPOLISH TO HELP MAKE THE SPARKLES STICK!!

Its mainly because of the pigment they use to stain the color of the nailpolish, without this pigment nailpolish would be clear-ish. Just the same with pens and inks, its much more harder to take off red ink on a shirt then it would with blue or black.

I know exactly how you feel, I think it might have something to do with the fact that red stands out the most and it tends to be the most eye-catching colour. So, I think it's partially that it does come off the same way, it's just that we notice more than usual if there's any nail polish left behind.

I think cuz the colour is so dark it stains the nails... And it gets in the cuticles and is harder to remove the colour.

I also find nail polish with sparkles VERY hard to take off...

Cause its so dark. Thats why I always go with lighter colors (they also wont stain your nails as much) I love pink anyways.

I have never noticed that before until recently. My toenails were red. And It is impossible to get it off!

yesss that happens to me too, idk why. i painted my nails red cause it was the only color i could find and i dont actually like it but it wont come off!!
