Yes! Chameleons do poorly in a glass aquarium. I would get a Reptarium by Apogee. They are easy to assemble, easy to clean and very sturdy. Plus, they provide an excellent environment for your Chammie. Depending on the breed, you should have a mister or volcano that elevates the humidity. For example, Four horned Chameleons don't require a large amount of heat, but do need a humid environment.

yep-with vines and/or a branch to climb on. They hang upside-down from the top. Many reptiles won't drink unless the water is moving and many won't eat unless the food is moving. They make vibrating dishes if you can't do live crickets and meal worms. Temp, lighting, water, greenage, etc...is very imp't to simulate their natural habitat so they will thrive.

You CAN use a screen cage, but some people don't. You sound like you don't know a whole lot about chameleons, and this is sad because they require special care. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make sure you are using a big enough tank with climbing space, proper humidity, UVA/UVB lighting, calcium supplements, and a heat source!
