Tyler is right you can use household items, bleach, fertilizer, etc. The sponsor is irrelevant however you will be hard pushed to get Coca-Cola or Mountain Dew in on your crazy schemes. Aim for somebody lower down the corporate ladder, local stores, regional papers, etc.

It is abundantly clear by the question that you have forgotten to watch Tom and Jerry; a.k.a., Tom (the cat) and Jerry (the mouse).
In the episode in question, Tom and Jerry were on the beach and Jerry (the mouse) managed to get himself caught like a cork in the neck of a bottle of soda pop. Tom (the cat) grabbed up the bottle, and while taking accurate bead on a far distant piling he shook the bottle and the fizz in the bottle mounted to just awful proportions.
The bottle erupted with a magnitude never seen since by Mt. Vesuvius - and out flew Jerry (the mouse). The resulting pileup with the piling was a terrible thing to see - Jerry, of course looked like this: ----\/\/\/\/\O
But Jerry (the most resilient of all mouses) picked himself up, stretched himself back into shape - and charged back into the fray.

First drink the Coke. Then fill the bottle halfway with water. Put a cup or so of dry ice inside and put on the cap. The result is very loud and the parts fly apart pretty fast, so be careful.

An ex boyfriend of mine would get an MRE from an army surplus store (it's like an instant meal), and he would put the heating component from the MRE in the bottle of soda and then screw the cap back on and run. He's lucky he never hurt himself or others. I hope you're not planning on doing something like that. You certainly wouldn't want to be anything like my ex.

sillycook77 is right. Saw it on an episode of Mythbusters. However you may not have time to run after you insert the mentos into the container as the reaction is almost instantaneous.
