Okay, first you should wash your hands thoroughly. Then clean your private area with water and mild soap(dove). Try not to irritate the area with a wash clothe. Pat dry with towel. Get a hand mirror and throughly exam your private area, and keep a mental note of any redness, iritation, etc. so that you can explain it to your doctor. To keep your private from getting anymore iritated place a small bit of vasiline between the lips (not inside) to keep them from drying out or rubbing together and becoming raw. Place on clean, non clingy, underwear. Preferable anything cotton. Also place in a panty liner and exam in the morning for any colored discharge,(the vaseline won't be an issue b/c it is ordor and colorless). This should soothe your problem. Do not rub.Do not self medicate. You may or may not have a yeast infection. It may be vaginal dryness due to the intercourse. But it's best you consult a doctor or make your way to a clinic asap in the morning for your own awareness and safety. Take care, honey.

Stay clean and dry. Scented pantyliner irritate women's vulva. Yes latex condoms do irritate some women also. Pay close attention to the texture of you discharge and the sent of it. Anything resembling the sent of beer, bread, or yeast is a yeast infection. Any sent that is fishy or fowl can be a STD. Any discharge that is yellow or chunky you should look out for that too. Sometimes the itching is just the first sign that something is going on internally. Some women are allergic to soap too. Of course for further action you should consult you gyn.

yeast infection maybe?? well, if ur not having sex, it could be a POSSIBILITY (notice I said POSSIBILITY) that u have a temporary STD, like crabs; if ur douching, could b a reason..u could b allergic 2 the soap that u use as well..wear cotton underwear, and avoid wearing tight pants..when i first hit puberty, i know i itched, and i was a virgin, so I know for sure that the answer isn't always an STD. I don't even know y ppl autimatically assume that every time u have a problem in that area..u don't even have 2 go 2 the doctor if u change ur habits..whatever u do..DON'T SCRATCH IT! Ur asking for hell the next time u urinate..but if ur having sex, stop, and get checked just incase..if ur douching, that's not necessary because ur vaginal discharge is a natural cleanser..so get that cotton underwear, take off those tight pants if ur wearing, n eating healthier doing the phase can help out also..peace n love!

There are several reasons for vaginal itching. STDS, yeast infection, allergic reaction, allergy/sensitivity to your soap/perfume/douche/and even your underwear. Latex is a common cause of allergic reaction though it usually disappears within a few days. ABOVE all, see a doctor for a REAL diagnosis. Also if you have cats/dogs in the house, it could be fleas(they like dark hairy areas) and a biggie is LICE. Yes, lice. Lice and fleas breed and multiply quickly making your life miserable. Have you made the doctor's appt yet?

Soak in a warm tub. There are lots of over the counter medications for itching. It is probably a fungal or yeast causing that but that's really normal. Don't be embarrassed about it or anything, but get a cream/ointment from your pharmacy to help. If you were alergic to latex, the reaction would be more severe. Burning, swelling, that sort of thing.

If it were a latex allergy it should me more swollen and sore, from the irritation and the friction. You don't lubricate well through an allergy (I have one.) Itchy, swollen, sore - possible allergy.
Just itching could be various types of infections, dirty, from dirty hands or penis, tears healing in the vagina... Best to go to doc to be sure.

It could be from having to much sex, masturbation, over cleaning yourself, wearing your pants to tight, not wearing underwear, taking to many baths, anything can cause it. Go to your doctor to find out for sure and get it taken care of it.
