Most of time I eat the food first to try it and then look at the nutritional facts to see how much of it I should have.

If its something that I haven't used before or a new product I usually read the nutritional information in the store and decide if I want it.

I just eat the food. I don't eat very much as I just stop the growling pretty much. I love veggies and chicken and try to eat that a lot of the time but when things get hectic I just eat the food.

I don't look at the nutricinal facts at all. I just taste it and it and if it tastes good then I will finish eating it. I don't pay attention to how much sugar or salt is in something, or anything else for that matter.

Prior to purchase I check nutritional content, especially mindful of the fibre content. If it is high fibre I will buy it. If not, then it goes back to the shelf.

High fibre pasta is better for you than white pasta.

Read the label...many processed food contain a lot of salt, fat or sugar so I won't buy them...I rather cook from scratch like I do 90% of the time. It is time consuming, but oooh so better for you and much better tasting too!!!!
