YES! I think they are, in my own opinion. I know to many's dismay, everybody has their own opinion on how good a musical artist is... I just agree with you, they are a great band, and if you're Emo, then you're definite you'll love them!! Their lyrics are 'life changing' in their own little way... Depending on your perception of the song meanings... I absolutely love My Chemical Romance. regardless of their fame,fortune, or how sexy Gerard looks rolling in the floor on their "Famous Last Words" video. (ha ha) But I think they ARE the best band ever!

No. They aren't close to the best. They aren't exceptional as individual musicians or vocalists, or as composers. They are not technically all that great. They aren't even in the same league as some of the great bands.

I saw them with Green Day in St. Louis last year. I've been a huge fan ever since.
