No. I have a wireless router also, but I sure wasn't spending the outrageous $100 for the XBOX 360 wireless adaptor. Your router should have some ethernet ports, just run a cable from your router to your 360. If your router doesn't have any ethernet ports, and you stick with the router you have, you'll have to get the adaptor for your 360

Not necessary unless you want to connect to the internet wireless. The wireless router also should have an ethernet Lan port that you can use to connect to the xbox 360. All you need is an ethernet cable.
