I almost got scammed twice. the first time the scammer got my phone number and called me. they said i won a free vacation. They even went as far as telling my routing number for my checking account. how did they get that. so the next morning i went to close that account. they called themselves travel agents direct. I done my research on these guys. they are the same as suntasia marketing. after i closed my account i got my bank statement and this company billed my account for 25.00. it said time magizine on my statement but when i called them they called themselves gift program assistance.phone #877-650-0828. All i got was a recording. I guess its money lost and a lesson learned. The only companys i ordered anything off of was overstock.com, amazon.com, and anytime costumes and gamestop.com. could any of these have sold my info to these scam artist. also what could i do to report these people who took money out of my account without me knowing it. and get this out to the public.

They could have. They are very good in what they do. Scam artist are very tricky and very hard to detect. But there are ways to stop that from happening again. Most of the scam are in emails. They can make an interesting email and then we open it. We put in our personal information that they want and then a few days later strange things start to happen. Scam artist and hackers can only access your main drive on your computer. Well lets fix that for you now OK? Gather all of your personal information from your system and place it into another hard drive such as "E" drive By doing this, the only thing that they will find out about you is your first name and maybe your cell phone number. If you have wireless system, there's no need to move your personal information because they can access your system by using remote access from your Internet provider. The only way that you can detect that is when you are on your system, and your mouse moves by itself, then you will know that you are being hacked. Get a different fire wall protection program to protect your system. It will help. I would suggest the best on the market and it is DEFENDER PRO 5in1. Just install that program on your system and then you shouldn't have any more problems with scam artist, and hackers. I hope that this information really helps you!

By stealing your personal info and this can be done by hackers on the computers and also by someone trying to impersonate you and your social security number, date of birth and other personal data.
Make sure you keep everything locked when appropriate and also password protect all your data and personal transactions.

You don't have to order anything off of sites for people to get your personal info. There are fake sites out there that, if you go on them and give them your personal info., will use everything you gave them.
