Ok, I completely believed the first one, even when he was telling the second one, however, his second story makes so much sense....i mean him being the tiger all along, struggling and controlling himself, etc....and hyena being the cook, etc. The first one makes sense as well....but the second one also makes sooo much sense, so which ones right????

Just the fact that you ask this question indicates that we as readers want to know what's "true." But does it really matter what's true? Which one did you like better?

And what does that comment mean, that so it is with God?

This seems to be a book that one either has to read again or else can't finish.

But then they'd miss the big pay off!!!

DON'T read the end first, unless you want to cheat yourself of a great reading experience. You'll know you're there when you get to the "What the Hell?" chapter.

Which ever one you want to believe is true is true? Do you want to see it as what cruelty human beings are capable of? You can see it that way. you can also see it is a triumph of human spirit. What ever you belive to be true is true.

the book is a deep book with meaning so I would advise you to make your own choice. that choice will speak volumns about how you feel
