Hydrilla verticullata is banned in many states,so check you local laws concerning foreign introduced species, but be discreet in your inquiries. Would want to see you have to pay a fine or worse yet introduce a foreign species to the environment in your area.If it is banned find an acceptable way to dispose of it.

this is a good plant for your fish, just don't put any in local waters
