My step dad has this colection of real baseball movies and footage and that talks a lot about discrimination against different races getting into baseball a long time ago. It is actually really interesting and sad what some stupid racist people did to keep many different races out of baseball.

Schindler's List (about the Holocaust)
American History X (about racial discrimination, skin heads) this is a very good movie though there are some scenes of graphic violence.
The Pianist (about Germany and the Jews)
Norma Rae (discrimination/equality - women workers)
