Yes, they do and if they are caught using the player with the violation receives a 20-game penalty fro the first offense, and a 60-penalty for the second time they are caught and if they are caught a third time it is the third strike you are out.

They do random testing, but I think it should be required that all active team players get tested. I only suggest this because they only seem to test players that dont help the NHL make money. You know the unknown players. I have seen some major players do drugs, a lot more in the off season then when there playing.

Yes, they do random drug testing of players, and they have a few strange rules about it, too, like players aren't allowed to take aspirin.

that's interesting...I dont quite understand why they could harm samples? i will see why the gamers affiliation does no longer want that..in case you have been a participant could you want the NHL to hold on on your drug assessments (Urine pattern or blood pattern or hair sample_ for an unknown volume of time? i understand i does no longer conform to that! yet as for the NHL itself, why harm the samples? actual to conceal your guy or woman azz! yet while they harm the samples, and then they say that participant "X" examined beneficial...How will they prepare it? They cant prepare it if the pattern is destroyed? So then the participant can attraction, and tell them to "prepare it" understanding that they cant!
