The only "looks" that are important are the way you "look" at yourself. If you think you are ugly or fat or something else crazy then that could be a problem for you emotionally and physically. However, if someone judges you, or won't date you, or won't be your friend because of the way you look then THEY are the one with the problem and they do not deserve you anyways! hang in there, there is someone for everyone. You just have to be patient.

Answered a question like this a couple days ago and the same answer applies here-besides being shallow in basing a relationship on looks, it is kinda dumb-my husband and I were acceptable as far as looks but after 62 years of marriage, looks sure change-rather, base a relationship on respect,compassion, consideration,kindness, being there through thick and thin,etc.

What the point of being in relationship with someone who looks good but can't stimulate your mind and can't hold a conversation.If you can't have fun with them or the sex might be bad whats the sense in having something with this person. In the long run you will not be happy.

There isn't one, cause you'll need emotional connection. If you have nothing in common besides the way the person looks, then your in a world of trouble when a better looking person comes along.

Exactly. If you can't talk to, laugh with, have fun with the person you're with the relationship is doomed. Nobody looks smokin' hot at 60.

I am firm believer don't judge a book by its cover. I loo for what is inside like her personality. I don't understand why looks are so important. Instead you should be paying attention to all the quality's that are their.

You're right what is the point. Beauty is only skin deep. What's the since in being with someone you cannot communicate with. . . You have to have common interests. . . It is more important to have someone who loves and respects you.

I agree with what your question under scores here. That good/ great looks don't always add up to compatibility or a good personality under the exterior. Still,---it's a fact of life that for all who have vision we see first with our eyes...then with our brain & heart.
