Besides meloncholy, I appreciate the music more now than I did back then, and I'm only 35. Words are power, so I symbolize passionately towards music. They hold memories that are very dear to me- I call them either sad or happy. A song in particular will convey something intimate; at least to me because I remember what it was I exactly did to warrant a mental response. An example is Duran Duran for me because I grew up on them, had their posters plastered, etc- basically the teenbopper in me. LOL- but it is not that, that I hold close- it's the song Save a Prayer playing on my walkman that morning of July 1985 as I went into a 13 hour spinal operation. Sorry if I depress you, but I felt compelled to say a bit more on my behalf as a compassionate passionate music lover- thank you for listening to my words.

Yeah it make me think back to my younger years when times were more simple (less worries and bills!)lol. Some songs make me remember a certain time or person from then etc.... it's a good feeling though some times sad too.

I like listening to old music occasionally. It's great for a laugh, like when I heard Ice Ice Baby the other day.

Some songs are very nostalgic. Listen more if they make you happy! I have a few old school songs downloaded that I don't know if I could live without!

It gives me a wonderful indescribable feeling in my chest whether the song induces negative or positive emotion. It takes me back to the person I once was and forces me to acknowledge my growth.

It brings back memories and i match up certain memories to certain songs. And sometimes it could be good or bad but overall the feeling is nostalgic.
