How can we remove beetel leave stains from the marble floor?

We have purchased a flat and there the workers have spit beetel leaves juice everywhere. The floor is looking too dirty and the supervisor of the construction is saying that he doesnt know any method by which we can remove stains. Can any body give some chemical or physical methods by which we can remove the stains?

the beautiful thing about marble,it can be polished like new.since everyone is using it for counters,there are a lot of new products at home depot and Lowe's.try them first and if not satisfied,then buff with a polisher.i do not like the construction crew,very unprofessional,and why is it your job to clean up their nasty spit.make them or have them foot the bill.in construction for 35 years,and the number one compliment is how neat and clean the job was done,and then the quality of the job.if you still owe them money,then don't pay until this situation is resolved,and I'll bet you one thing,the nasty spitting will stop.
