The Deep Blue.....Wild Orchid and Wild Orchid 2...people blow off the Wild Orchid movies as basically soft core porn..but they are actually...especially the first one...incredible and powerful love stories.

This may sound odd but Bram Stoker's 1992 version of Dracula with Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, and Keanu Reeves is one of the best love stories ever.
When Oldman turns Ryder's tears into diamonds, the women in the theater loved it!!
Must see love story.

The first one that came to mind for me was Bridges of Madison County - I was glad to see others pick it, too.
It's hard to beat Love Story - the original one with Ryan O'Neal and Allie McGraw. A total tear jerker.

hmm..well probably the korean movie "my sassy girl" is the best one i've ever seen. it's hilarious in parts, but the ending is really sweet.
as for american movies, this is cliche, but i really did like the notebook. it made me cry so much! i don't think i would ever be able to watch it again though, whereas my sassy girl i've seen about 100 times. hehe.
