i'm currently writing SATB for "I'd like to teach the world to sing". i'm more concern on how to write the Tenor and Bass parts.

Usually bass parts are pretty boring. The bass usually sings the root of the chord. The tenor is usually another harmonization of the soprano (lead) line.

I saw your other post stating that you were considering having the altos and sopranos sing in parallel octaves. Are you considering the singing abilities (ranges) of your singers? This is a consideration that should be made for all parts. It would probably make more sense to have the sopranos and altos sing in unison.

There's a lot more that can be said on this topic, but honestly you should take some classes in music theory and composition.
