They are so popular---I've watched them a few times and cannot figure out how people get into these shows. "24" and lost has unconvincing acting, predictable scripting. "Deal or No Deal is a glitzy game show that has about the same level of excitement as sitting and watching someone play a slot machine.

Deal or No Deal was really good when it first came on, but it is really getting stupid.
24 started out really great, but like you say it is getting predictable.
Lost on the other hand is very addictive. It is like a soap opera, almost. You would probably like it more if you saw it from the start, season 1 and 2 are on DVD. It is nice to watch w/o commercials, and you don't have to worry about missing an episode. I am really looking forward to the second half of season 3.

I disagree. I have watched 24 in the past and it is a very suspensful show. It is really cool how it is acted in real time vs. tv time where a day can be weeks or vice versa. LOST is the best show! I am addicted to it. It is not something you can turn on once or twice and get into because there is so much that happened in the previous episodes. If you watched it from the beginning, I think you would see why it is so popular. And good Lord, if nothing else, you get to watch Jack and Sawyer for an hour - who happen to be the best eye candy going for television these days. As far as Deal or No Deal, I can take it or leave it. It gets old easy and some of the contestants you just want to *smack*.

well, Lost is actually a very good show, even though I started watching it during the 2nd season. 24, is a show I have never watch so I can't help you on that one. Deal or no deal is a 50/50 show. I have watched it a couple of times, only because it is just before Heroes

I love Deal or No Deal but, 24 and Lost seem really stupid so, I have never watched them. Everybody says Lost is the best but, I am not too sure of it.

The first saeson of Lost was awesome. The second season everything just started to really go south. They NEVER solved any of the plots, infact they just totally forgot about some of them, never to be brought into the light of day ever again. They would thicken and thicken the plots into rock hard cement....In one episode Sun was pregnant, 5 episodes later and they still had never mentioned it again. That show is written by people on crack, for people on crack.

i agree with the first two, but deal or no deal is a game show that changes weekly, you don't have to watch the previous week to know what's going on.

24 had me the first season... after that nothing
Lost had me for 4-5 episodes... after that nothing
Deal or No Deal... interesting- but takes forever. Too slow.
