For me its more the fact we all have to be so scared just to go outside, especially children. We are all taught to be aware, but we do have to be aware every second. It's sad you can't trust people because they are only out to help themselves. So basically I'm scared to go anywhere by myself. I won't even let my brother and sister walk a few feet in front of me. I am too scared someone will snatch them.

You can tell me not to live in paranoia. But its true you can't stop being aware not for one second. Because that second could change anything. I come from overprotective family. I am paranoid, overly paranoid. But my parents aren't as bad as me. I just see it too much on the news and how many children have been killed. Any its easy for any guy to say I'm paranoid. But they don't have to live in fear of being raped or worse when just walking down the street.

Its a sick, crazy world out there. I would like to go for a walk by myself, but am afraid to. The schools aren't even safe anymore, so you have to worry about your children at all times.The scariest part of it all is that it will only get worse.

The fact that so many people refuse to comprehend the danger we place ourselves and the rest world in if we lose the war. The ones that still believe the terrorist are reasonable and up for some peace talks scare me the most. Wake up. Its kill or be killed time. We dont want it to be but there it unmistakenly is. Not gonna stop em with words.

The world have been a unsafe place all times... and it was even more unsafe before, because now we have laws, a strong and proper government that in someway protects us... Try to think about how life was back in the medieval times when the king was willing to kill everybody who would treat the absurd and stupid way of life and government they used to have....
I am afraid of the people that are still living the past.... the people that do not seem to morally evolve in society.... people that keep believing in communism and in violence to get power for themselves..... I am scare that this people will end not only with me but with the somewhat safe lifestyle we all people have nowadays....

Disbelief in the One True God.
I visited the US for 2 months in 1970, I could go out at any time with anybody, even at midnight with people I only met the first time.

The social culture. Getting drunk is considered cool. Having sex and orgies for young kids and married couples are considered exciting. Having tattoos and smoke at a young age is considered 'that's the way it should be if you want friends'.
Could you imagine the damage that the society could do to the future generation?

My husband and I argue sometimes because I'm scared to let my gran daughter who is 4 sleep alone so on the nights her mom works I sleep in her bed. I'm so sacred some one will come through the window at night and steal her.

I am scared because I cannot believe how many horrible people are in the world...people that murder, and lie, and steal, and cheat...that to me is scary. And I agree, most people are only out there to help themselves. the world is scary, but don't let it scare you...because then you become institutionalised for being paranoid! Because everything is scary...

I don't know where you live, but the world is really not as scary as you think. Try it. What's the worst that can happen? It's far worse to keep yourself locked up and afraid to see the light of day. It sounds like you might be watching too much TV - that's scary!
