NO! I simply get some Kingsford charcoal and a slab or 3 or4 and get to bar-b-que.'n I do not let the temp. stop me from cook'n out I live in Northeast Wi. on the Oneida Indian REZ. (next to Greenbay Wi) You do have a warm coat don't you? all you have to do is run out and check it to make shure it isn't burning to crisp. it ain't necessary to stay out and freeze you buns off I Barbeque the whole year round regardless of the weather conditions try it you'll like it besides it won't kill you.

Not too often but hey, why not get a gas grill so you can dash out there, slap the meat on, go back in the house and back out to get the meat. Soooo easy and sooo yummy!!
And p.s., the meat tastes much better when there's all that moisture in the air.

Actually last year on Thanksgiving Day I did stare out and it was cold, my smoker caught fire and my Turkey was ruined.
I had to rush intotown and purchased the last Turkey they had already smoked for $40.00
Needless to say my family enjoyed Thanksgiving and today it is still a big laugh how my Turkey caught fire,.

I like many others here in this small town I live in and in this south end of town south of the tracks.
I use my BBQ grill all year round. and what a way to cook any and all types of food.
