They are in different rooms. It doesn't work. Is that the reason why? My husband says no, that is not the reason but he can't get it to work. Any ideas other than returning it and using 1 computer which is slow anyway.

In order to answer to your query we need the information like the model number of the router and computer that you are using are wireless then which wireless adapter they are using.Which operating system.

You might not have compatible network cards. Try hard wiring them (plug the ethernet cable from the router to the computer.) If this works then it might be your cards but if it doesnt then its probably your router.
