You have to give and take
If you are wrong, admit it......If you are right, say nothing
Listen more carefully.......repeat what the person is saying so you understand what they said. Also, have them repeat after you to be sure........
Don't let little things escalate to big things.....thats silly.....we all are guilty of this...
Be more positive......Look how wonderful a relationship is when you both work at it and can laugh together. Look how happy you both are!!! Fighting or argueing isn't worth it....A little spat can be healthy. Makeing up later is fun..
If you are argueing and your husband is silly like on Raymond, that is innocent really.,
Ive been married over 30 years. We are always learning about each other, because what he use to like b/4, he doesn't now.
And same goes for me..Just try to be there for each other and yet know when to let that person have some space.....If I need a night to be with my girlfriends, My husband understands....Same goes for him if he wants to go and play cards one night a month...We all need an outlet from our everyday lives...and .at times from eachother. It's healthy......We also get together everyother week with 2-3 other couples for dinner...We meet at someones home, talk about the worlds problems for 1 hour then go eat, and go home....It's fun

My relationship lasts because we have trust , love and mutual respect. We also have work at it. A relationship isn't something that you just let go they have to be worked at.
