Because they think that if they dont have a cell phone they arent cool. All teenagers want to be cool if you know. I think its stupid that a stupid little phone that your supposed to have in case of an emergency is such a big deal for teenagers.

A Palm Centro or BlackJack II I actually have a centro and that i resembling it to death. that's large for IM and textual content. They promote it on att and sprint. i became questioning about getting the blackjack, yet i did not like that it became so great.. they are both in that budget. The centro also has a touchscreen, information to bypass, camcorder (which the first blackberry pearl does not have) the hot ones do though. and alot of different effective aspects. i am hoping this helped, also i'm 14 so i imagine she'll like that too.

im 19. i live on my own. i ONLY have one strictly for emergency purposes. if i didnt have to deal with emergencies, id throw the damn thing off a 60 story building!!!! i hate them!!!
