It's been back on for quite a while now - my little nieces love it.
Whenever I used to ask my mum to read to me when i was little, she'd say smugly:
"I'll tell u a story of jackanory, and now my story's begun,
I'll tell u another of jack and his brother and now my story is done."
Drove me up the wall, I can tell you.
