The guy that said a coup against the US government must be drunk? Since when do those three people represent the US government? I did not vote for them and they are traitors, But as long as we are on the subject, yeah it would be great if Colin Powell would reveal the truth but then he might be killed. You are right those people are bullies. But they do hold our fate since they manipulated it that way. I love the way that Rice botched up the middle east in Israel and had to leave because of the death threats from the Arabs. What a gal eh?
What did Bush think that the Black woman would be respected?
Ha ha everyone knows he was his special token tyrant. Black people don't like her either so what good is she? Cheney is a Nazi, and Bush is a tyrannical spoiled brat with power. Very dangerous combination. So we must walk softly and find a big stick soon.

It depends on our military leaders. The troops will follow a leader they love and respect. If one of those leaders decides that the Constitution has been violated and sees no other choice but to forcibly remove a civilian officeholder or two, it might happen. Then we will have civil war, which is exactly what our enemies want.
What will be a lot of fun is to watch and see what happens if Pres. Bush decides that a high terrorist threat forces him to "postpone" the election in 2008.
That date will be the flashpoint.

The military is not almost entirely against him. In fact, most support the efforts of this war. The new leader in Iraq, Patreaus, worked with Iraqi forces for a year, training them to take over security. Now is his chance to show us that all that training has paid off.
Why don't we all just back the troops and the President in this last ditch effort to stabilize Iraq? If he isn't sucessful, then we will have no choice but to start moving the troops out. I think it's very sad that Americans are giving up so easily on Iraq. Our country has lost its spirit. Too bad for all of you. I won't ever sit here and make a vote of no confidence in our President, or our military.
I was in the service when Clinton was the president, and during all his lying, and squeemishness and bj's in the oval office, I never, ever considered going AWOL because I didn't like his policies. Why are the American people going AWOL on our soldiers and marines? Why?

Interesting. I thought I was the only one that's been thinking about that possibility the past several months. Five years ago I'd have laughed in your face that something like that could happen in the U.S. Today I wouldn't be surprised at all . . . the result couldn't be any worse that what we have now . . . and all the ingredients that have led to such actions in other nations through the years are increasingly present right here in the Good Old USA!

So you believe the answer to your dislike of our elected official is to incite treason and for a military dictatorship to be imposed? Luckily there is no chance of such a thing happening. In order for that to occur the senior military people you speak of as well as the rank and file would have to ignore and basically spit on the constitution that they have sworn to uphold, and that isn't going to happen. The only way that the president can be removed from office is impeachment and also little to no chance of that happening either.

While I can't agree about a coup, these knuckleheads have orchestrated the wost failure of US foreign policy in our nation's history, both out of stubborn ignorance and financial gain for their friends and, in Cheney's case, himself...they should all be forced out of office

The guys with the real Kahunas were replaced by Bush. The new guys are the Yes men so there is no chance for a coup.

won't work
many of the conscientious objectors and veterans of the Vietnam war were outcasts afterwards, and the rest of USA kept on going strong. The last revolution that was any good was the first one.

Hmmm...while I would like to see a big change in government, I'm not sure I want to see the military take over. Isn't that what happened to Cuba???
