I was out with a group of friends on a 21st birthday last year, and near the end of the evening one of my friends wanted to switch clothes with me. I declined, explaining i wanted to keep my own, she went mad a stormed off and we haven't spoken since. She is not taking my calls, and not responding to email. My question is would you consider swapping clothes/shoes with someone when you are out?

Not really, I think your friend is crazy and she is not worth it. Stop calling her, if she's really a good friend, eventually she'll call you. Good luck!

What's the point of swapping clothes? You may have left your friend hanging but your clothes are made to fit you; They're for your looks not hers. She has no right to get mad just because she demands to swap clothes with you. That's a morbid sense of entitlement.

I would never swap clothes with a friend. The shirt on my back are expensive. I don't want no sweaty person getting their swamp *ss on my Armani suit! j/k

If she was a true friend she would forgive you for not being nuts!

No, I wouldn't. Your ex-friend sounds like a spoiled brat- you wouldn't play her way, so she went stomping off and doesn't want to play anymore. Believe me when I tell you that it was no great loss...I would be moving on without her, and with your wardrobe intact!
What you have must be pretty spectacular if she's so mad about not getting it that she wouldn't ever speak again!!

never really thought of this ever. Must be more to it that she's acting this way ... maybe call her and if you are still friends, she'd be able to give you reasons why she's acting the way she does. Do this only if you think the friendship is worth saving.

how much did your friend have to drink? i can see swapping jackets OR hats for the night, but clothes? that sounds a little strange to me.

yeah I probably would have done it (especially if I really liked her clothes/shoes) But if she's not talking to u it's probably because she wanted to use that as an excuse to stop talking to you because she didn't want to be your friend anymore.

I think outside the box.....
