I posted a question a couple of weeks ago about my gf possibly being abused by her father. Well she is about 5 months pregnant now and she has been getting bruises again, it stopped for a while but then it started again after she told him she wasn't giving her up for adoption. She doesn't even blame her father and refuses to go to the police or the doctors. I'm afraid he is going to seriously hurt her one day. What should I do?

Get in touch with a psychologist or another type of doctor. This is a horrible thing! It took me a long time to finally see someone. Women are emotional and we don't want to hurt someone either because we are scared for one reason or another (maybe she doesn't know what will happen if she gets help and he finds out or if she confronts him or maybe something else) or we just accept what is going on as normal. It is sick (I know from experience) but it is a truth. If she hasn't listened to you by now I would seek a third party (a professional) as to what to do.

Call the police cause the father would get charged with not only assault on her but also on the unborn baby.I grew up in with a very abusive step father. He finnally kicked me out and I met my wonderful husband.I lived in pure hell for almost 8 years.Alot of the reason she doesnt want to say anything is that she is scared that the cops will take his side and then she'll be stuck with him after they leave. That's how I felt .I was completly trapped.Support her and get her out of that house for her safety and your unborn baby.If she is at least 15 she can get emancipated from her parents.Good luck

Tell her it's your baby as well and you don't want to see either of them get hurt or possibly have your baby or her die. Tell her if she doesn't call the police that you will and you'll take the baby from her. Take her from her father in the middle of the night or after school and don't let her go back there.

YOU call the police and explain to them what is happening or call Child Protective Services. The abuse must be stopped.

Tell someone if you see the bruises again on her, then if it gets worse, your going to have to take him to the police, and make sure the baby is ok.

Definitely tell authorities. Let them check into it. Don't just let it go, because she could get seriously hurt or loose the baby.

You have to tell someone or then the baby will get hurt! Not let alone her! She may hate you for it now, but she sure will thank you for it later. Trust me.

You shouldn't wait for her to isolate herself. She may not go to the authorities herself, but you sure can. Ask them to investigate if you really believe that she is being abused.
