I can tell you 90% of all computer problems are not fixed by rebooting. It's only 10%.

You have to provide details as to what your problem is. If you computer freezes due to a bad website than yes rebooting would unfreeze your computer, but not fix the website.

No. It doesn't solve the freezing problem except for the time it freezes on you. It won't resolve it forever. There are several reasons or possibilities that cause freezing. Rebooting only restarts your computer to get rid of the freezing at that moment in time, but doesn't 'solve' it for good. Run a virus and spyware check. 'Hijackers' can cause freezing as well as viruses and spyware, so do a virus and spyware check and see what turns up. I've had to reboot my computer several times because of it freezing, but it doesn't solve it - it still freezes up on me from time to time.

your computer is freezing for a reason, over heating, not enough resource, system reboot is a temporary fix that just gets you out of the freeze. Do a computer tune-up, blow out the dust with an air can, make sure you interior fans are working, uninstall old programs, virus, spyware scan regularly. Could be so many things.

It depends on what causes the freeze. Sometimes it helps. If it keeps happening then something else need to be done.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
