Is it normal? Yes and no. During growth spurts and hormone changes, your breasts can do all sorts of "weird" things that isn't what you are used to. This is one of those times you have to play the "wait and see" game, to allow your body a chance to finish whatever cycle it's in before you know if you might have a more serious problem that would require you to see a doctor about the discomfort. If you are still hurting in a week or so, make an appointment with your ob/gyn or pcp.
While you wait, make sure you allow your breasts as much freedom as possible. Wear sports bras when possible, and go bra-less at home, especially at night. There is no reason to wear a bra to bed, EVER. You might also want to invest in some wireless cotton bras for everyday use. If your breasts are changing in any way, you don't want to restrict them with underwire, padding, or fabrics with very little (or none at all) stretch.
If you don't want to wear padded bras anymore, then don't. Most people won't notice a small decrease in your bust size, and the ones that will are probably people that aren't worth being around anyway.

It's normal to feel pain where your breast are. it's a sign that they are growing. But it may have something to do with the bra..
I don't think you should need a padded bra anyways..you're young you don't need to look like you have anything there. Be yourself and don't pad. It's shows your a little self consious about yourself. And that is more unattractive as small breast ever will be. And hopefully no one is looking, but if they are you really don't want to give them something more to look at..

Yes, it is normal for your breasts to hurt, usually before your period or even if they are just growing. But I don't think that there is anything wrong with wearing a padded bra, all girls do it at one point in their lives, but if you have small breasts and want them to look bigger go for it who cares it only matters how you feel.

Forget about everyone else. When I first started wearing bras, my mom got them for me. She always bought padded ones too. They hurted at first and occassionally I'd just wear the normal ones. And if I were that desperate I'd stick tissue down 'em! With padded bras you have to make sure they nabsolutely fit, otherwise they can hurt when you move your arms in certain ways. Learnt from experiance!
Good luck!
All will reveal fabulous.

How old are you? If you are under 18 you are probably still growing your breasts. I'm sure people will notice but who cares. Don't sacrifice a bigger looking chest over pain and discomfort. Have you tried the gel like breasts that look like chicken cutlets? They look and feel like actual breasts. With these you just put them in your bra. They shouldn't cause discomfort or pain and you can find them at most department stores. Be happy with you got....this is coming from a girl who is in her 20s and still is wondering when she will ever grow hers. lol! Good luck :)

If you are young, then your breasts are still growing. That could be why they are stiff and hurting. They also do that right around the time you start your period each month. They have bra's out now that have a gel/water/or silicone substance in them. I personally haven't tried them, but they are supposed to be really comfortable.

okay buy a slightly padded bra and wear that, then a barely padded bra and wear that, each for about a week or so. then eventually you can just wear a normal bra and no one will notice. maybe they're just growing and that's why they hurt.

it depends....they may still be growing. i wore padded bras and they were uncomfortable for me after a while (do you have them too tight?) if u stop, probably no one will notice unless guys stare obsessively at them (i stopped and no one paid attention. it depends on how big your boobs were when u wore the padded ones. compare that size to the size you have when u wear a normal bra).

It is not normal at all. tender breasts can be a sign of pregnancy or maybe you are allergic to a material used on the bra. Make sure that you wash them in a non scented detergent (or Dreft, that is baby detergent) you may just have it on too tight.
